We endeavour to create the best possible conditions for our students to achieve successful careers, so that they will be able to work in high-responsibility jobs in society, both nationally and internationally.
We achieve this through high competence and professional skill in the staff of Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM). The education has a solid research foundation, and the majority of the teachers are active researchers - professors, associate professors and visiting professors are active in education in various ways, contributing with their professional competence.
Innovation in research and education takes place through research in the international front line, participation in multidisciplinary projects and renewal of teaching methods and courses offered.
The education is organised so that the breadth of Lund University School of Economics and Management is utilised in programmes and single-subject courses, and also so that the students will be able to combine LUSEM’s range with other relevant subjects at Lund University, such as technology, medicine, social science and humanities. In this way we take advantage of the fact that we belong to a large university and can satisfy a wide range of unique needs.
The international activity means, among other things, intensive and high-quality student exchange, opportunities for internationally geared education and encouragement of teacher exchange. Researchers are active in international forums, journals and conferences.
Business and the public sector are natural partners in the work of LUSEM, above all through interaction between education and research.
