The conferring of doctoral degrees is a solemn ceremony where the university faculties present the tokens of doctoral dignity to those who have obtained doctorates during the year.
PhD Programmes
PhD Programmes are offered by all LUSEM departments. At present there are almost 200 PhD students and about 20-25 dissertations are presented each year. In addition, there are theses for the degree of licentiate. Many of our PhD students go on to pursue successful academic careers, others to work in business and public administration.
