Collaboration and improvement work in dementia healthcare
Författare
Summary, in English
This teaching case of improved dementia care is mainly targeting employees in the health and care sector, decision-makers or students who study medicine and/or care at universities. The case is available in two versions and has one teaching instruction. Version A1 is adapted to practitioners working in dementia care and is a "clean" description of a success case. Version A2 is targeting students. The case is intended to cover at least three overall learning outcomes:
1) To gain an enhanced understanding of the complexity and uncertainty that may exist in inter-municipal collaborations and organizational change.
2) To be able to discuss and assume the conditions that need to be in place for a functioning dementia care between two principals (a municipality and a primary care unit).
3) Be able to conduct an initiated discussion on the pros and cons of introducing and ensuring changes driven by devoted employees without support from management.
